A San Diego native, Dr Lau's dedication to her work and conscientiousness shone through when she became valedictorian of West Hills high school, CA. She completed her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from the University of San Diego and received her doctorate of dental surgery at the highly esteemed University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry. She furthered her education with an Advanced General Dentistry Residency at the Univeristy of Pacific in San Francisco, where she became very well-versed in cosmetic veneers and crown and bridge, root canal treatment, gum therapy, oral surgery, and implant dentistry.
Currently, she is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the San Diego Local Dental Society. Dr. Lau's mission is to provide the most optimal individualized dental care, treating patients like they are her family. Her highest priority is to provide pain-free dentistry in a gentle respectful manner. A mother of three young children, she loves taking care of adults and children alike. Dr. Lau fully understands the value of time and to offer total family dental care is very important in today's busy schedule. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, swimming, and having great fun with her family.
